The demand for German solar batteries rose by 47% last year.
This emerges from a new report by the Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft eV (BSW), which is estimated to have installed around 88,000 storage systems in the domestic sector alone in 2o2o.
According to studies, the number of solar power storage units has reached a total of 272,000 units.
The authority, which expects a further increase in storage demand, assumes that the annual market for stationary battery storage will double by 2025 and is expected to even quintuple by the end of the decade.
