NeoVolta Introduces NV24 Greater Capability Solar Battery System – GlobeNewswire

SAN DIEGO, January 29, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – NEOVOLTA INC. (OTCQB: NEOV) – NeoVolta has dramatically expanded the storage capacity of its NV14 home solar battery with the new NV24 battery add-on. By combining the NV14 with the NV24, the storage capacity is increased from 14.4 kilowatt hours to 24.0 kWh. This makes this system one of the most powerful solar storage systems for private households on the market. With additional energy stored for later use, the paired system further lowers monthly electricity bills and provides an even longer-lasting emergency power supply in the event of longer power outages.

The NV24 meets a critical demand for high-performance solar storage for private households. Our modern lifestyles are powered by a growing number of devices and devices that provide comfort and convenience while keeping us connected. At the same time, the power grid is more vulnerable than ever to prolonged power outages caused by extreme weather or cyber attacks. And in California, where the NeoVolta installation is available, public safety shutdowns are commonplace during a longer and more intense forest fire season. The NV14 / NV24 delivers 32 amps of continuous power, more than most other solar storage systems, so that it can also supply more energy-intensive devices with power.

The NV24 system adds two batteries but does not require a second inverter, which is a significant cost saving.

Like the NV14, the NV24 can be installed indoors or outdoors, and the two cabinets must be placed within four feet of each other. Homeowners can choose to have the two systems installed together, or the NV24 can be retrofitted to an existing NV14 in 90 minutes or less. The installation is available now in Southern California and will be available in Northern California in mid-2020.

San Diego-based NeoVolta uses the innovative chemistry of lithium iron phosphate batteries in its NV14 and NV24. This superior chemistry makes NeoVolta batteries safer, cleaner, and more durable than the regular lithium-ion batteries used by most competitors. The NV14 was recently named one of the “2019 Top Solar Storage Products” by Solar Power World. The system has been recognized for its safe, long-lasting battery, high capacity and compatibility with any solar panel installation.

The NV14 and NV24 meet the standards of Underwriters Laboratories, the world's most trusted name for product safety certification.

"Any homeowner with high energy consumption or who lives in an area prone to prolonged blackouts should consider increasing their solar storage capacity," said Brent Willson, CEO of NeoVolta. "That is why we are pleased to be able to introduce the NV24. The combination of the NV14 with an NV24 is the ideal solution to increase the capacity and meet the energy requirements of your house."

About NeoVolta – NeoVolta designs, develops and manufactures utility bills to reduce electricity costs in residential areas, so that you can keep your home running even when the grid fails. Focusing on safer lithium iron phosphate chemistry, the NV14 is equipped with a 14.4 kWh rechargeable solar battery, 7,680 watt inverter and a web-based energy management system with 24/7 monitoring. By storing energy instead of feeding it back into the grid, consumers can protect themselves from power outages, avoid expensive power peaks that are charged by utility companies when solar modules are not producing, and get one step closer to grid independence.
