SunPower Corp., a provider of solar technology and energy services, has launched the mySunPower app, the company's new experience for homeowners that allows them to review and manage their energy generation, consumption and battery storage settings from a mobile device.
The new mySunPower monitoring app will be available for SunPower Equinox customers to download on February 16 from the Apple App Store and Google Play and will be available to all SunPower's 285,000 monitoring customers by spring 2021.
MySunPower is designed to seamlessly integrate with SunPower's existing homeowner platform, helping to optimize energy use, save money and become less dependent on traditional energy providers in the face of blackouts, natural disasters and the effects of climate change.

-Live Power Flow: With live data, Equinox customers can use production meters to track the immediate impact of their energy decisions, including the impact of changing weather conditions, adjustments to battery settings, or even the use of small appliances like a microwave in real life. time
-In-App Alerts: New notification features alert homeowners to important changes in their system status, connectivity and weather conditions. Additional app features expected to be released during the course of 2021 include alerts for homeowners to prepare for rolling power outages and other incidents
According to Wood Mackenzie and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), more than 25% of on-site solar systems will be paired with storage by 2025. The new mySunPower app shortens the learning curve for customers who use solar and storage through a completely redesigned user interface, actionable insights based on real-time data and live in-app updates on system status and connectivity.
